Join SA’s Biggest Love Campaign!

EXCITING UPDATE: Our Spread The Love SA campaign begins today! 😀

Leading up to Mandela Day on 18 July, this month is all about South Africans giving back to fellow South Africans. In the spirit of Madiba and Ubuntu, the epic team here at Brownie Points, in partnership with Game For Humanity, is bringing you weekly opportunities to give back in fun and creative ways. And the rewards have got so much sweeter too!

Remember those NEK  and RAK nomination videos that went viral not so long ago? Well #SAspreadslove is our way to keep good deeds going viral across our country!

From today for the month of June, we’re lighting up social media channels with the “Spread The Love SA” campaign, encouraging South Africans to perform acts of kindness inspired by Game For Humanity action cards.

“Through easy and fun tasks, the cards create a positive mentality proving that giving is fun and should be an inspirational lifestyle to all, especially the youth.” – Marc Buhrer, creator of Game For Humanity

The Rules

  • First like the Brownie Points and Game For Humanity Facebook pages.
  • Check out images of the first action cards shared on the Brownie Points and Game For Humanity Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
  • Select an action card that appeals to you
  • Complete the act of kindness written on the card
  • Upload a video or a photo via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the tags #bekindSA and #SAspreadslove
  • Now nominate a friend to complete the task by tagging their name in the comments section

Participants are allowed to pick any of the cards posted during the campaign, completing however many tasks they want within the month of June.

“Every day, we have the opportunity to make a difference, no matter how small. Small good deeds done consistently add up to a big difference over time. And this is what this campaign is all about. In the spirit of Ubuntu and together with Game For Humanity and a passionate community, we want to achieve 1000 good deeds in the month preceding Mandela Day.” – Pascale Henke, CEO Brownie Points.

The Rewards

The winner will be randomly selected and announced at the end of each week, amounting to four winners for the entire month. The lucky participants will receive their own pack of Game For Humanity Cards and a South African charity of their choice will receive our Brownie Points Grow package for free. We’ll give the chosen charity loads of help in creating their own custom Brownie Points profile, setting up a PayFast Cause account and fundraising goal, as well as help them to attract more fans and volunteers.

Ready to start spreading some lurvvv? Head over to our Facebook page to check out the first card!
